The stars have barely changed outside the lounge windows, but the room has filled. Then Zero-G starts playing. Light runs across a glass organ, one voice answers another, and the room finds a rhythm of its own. A few people dance. An album for the life aboard
Soft Gravity explores the everyday pleasure of living and traveling through Krakon space. Its rooms are ship lounges, station cafés, gathering halls, and places where a band can turn a stop along the way into an evening people remember.
The album moves between lively gatherings and quieter company. Friendship, flirtation, nostalgia, odd adventures, and the enjoyment of simply being present all belong here. Its warmth comes from people having lives together: knowing the jokes, recognizing a voice, remembering what happened on the last voyage, and welcoming someone new.
The sound of the room
Zero-G combines future-funk and space-lounge atmosphere with warm electronic grooves. FM-organ melodies, rhythmic glitches, bright instrumental colors, and voices that answer and interrupt one another give the music its social character. Gentler passages make room for affection and memories; more energetic songs bring the room to its feet.
The title track rests in the small pull of companionship. Other songs open onto travel, attraction, peculiar destinations, and the stories carried back from them. The album can be playful without requiring every experience to become a joke, and reflective without losing its pleasure in living.
