Still Here Tonight

βšͺ Common πŸŒ™ Personal Dreams

The friends who made it back gather around the same old table. Zero-G gives grief a little space and lets the simple relief of being here carry the night.

Lore

The stars have barely changed outside the lounge windows, but the room has filled. Someone has brought a drink, someone is arguing over a game, and an old joke is making its way around the table again. The engines keep their low rhythm beneath it all. There is nowhere anyone needs to be for a while.

Then Zero-G starts playing. Light runs across a glass organ, one voice answers another, and the room finds a rhythm of its own. A few people dance. Others stay where they are, listening beside someone familiar. Out here, a good evening can be as much a reason to travel together as anything waiting at the destination.

There are plenty of stories aboard: a journey that went unexpectedly well, an attraction that complicated everything, a ridiculous decision that becomes funnier with distance. Some are told loudly. Others linger in a song, understood by the people who were there.

Life continues between the remarkable events. Friends share space, memories settle, and new arrivals find a place among familiar routines. Some nights want motion and noise. Some want soft light, an unhurried melody, and company that asks very little.

Soft Gravity belongs to those hours. The ship keeps moving, and the people inside it keep making a home.

Near a black hole, fortunes grow. Across Krakon space, trillions build comfortable lives while millions chase treasure, distant worlds, and a story worth leaving behind.

About this song

A warm retro-futuristic chill track about surviving long enough to sit down with the people who made it back beside you.

Driven by soft FM organs, analog pads, muted grooves, engine hums, and tired late-night laughter, the song captures the emotional aftermath of loss without turning it into heroism. No speeches, no grand victories β€” just exhausted people trying to stay human together inside a cold moving world.

A future-funk reflection on friendship, memory, survival, and the quiet relief of still being alive tonight.

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
No speeches
no names
no medals on the wall

Just drinks
half-full
and boots by the door

Someone laughs
too late
someone stares too long

We don't fix it
we let it be
and pass it on

[Pre-Chorus]
The ache is here
yeah, we know
It doesn't need a throne

Some things stay
some things go
That's how the ship keeps moving on

[Chorus]
Take it easy
just for tonight
We're still breathing
still in the light

Not brave enough
to call it peace
But still alive
and that's not cheap

Take it easy
hold the line
If this is all
then this is mine

[Verse 2]
New faces
same damn jokes
same table, different hands

They don't know
what we lost
and we won't explain

Not disrespect
just mercy
for the road ahead

Every ghost
needs silence
not a song in their head

[Pre-Chorus 2]
We carry weight
by walking light
That's how you last out here

No grand meaning
no last rites
Just friends who made it back alive

[Chorus]
Take it easy
just for tonight
We're still breathing
still in the light

Not heroes carved
in dying stars
Just here
and that goes far

Take it easy
don't pretend
We live this now
for who comes next

[Bridge]
Maybe one day
we'll be the names
they toast and then forget

So let's not rush
to make it clean
or call this something it isn't yet

[Final Chorus]
Take it easy
hands in the air
If time is burning
we'll warm ourselves there

No big goodbye
no need to stay
We lived the moment
on our way

Take it easy
when it's your turn
Leave us a story
worth the burn

Songs on this album

song βœ¨πŸŒ™

FM organs, cosmic chants, and a pulse that leaves gravity at the door. Zero-G turns a few wild flashes of language into a bright celebration across the dark.

Zero-G
song πŸŒΏπŸŒ™

Half-full cups, familiar jokes, and a ship breathing slowly through the dark. Zero-G finds a gentle pull in the room itself: the company that lets everyone set down some weight.

Zero-G
song βœ¨πŸŒ™

An empty seat changes the air, though the ship keeps its course. Zero-G follows a crew learning to carry someone's absence through shifts, jokes, and ordinary motion.

Zero-G
song βšͺπŸŒ™

The friends who made it back gather around the same old table. Zero-G gives grief a little space and lets the simple relief of being here carry the night.

Zero-G
song βœ¨πŸŒ™

A promise, a refuge, a beautiful lie? Zero-G tours the lights and contradictions of Krakon, where the longing for more time can make living itself easy to forget.

Zero-G
song πŸŒΏπŸŒ™

Loose bolts, unpaid dock fees, and one more unlikely crossing. Zero-G raises a crooked toast to the battered ship that keeps its equally battered crew alive.

Zero-G
song βšͺπŸŒ™

A damaged ship lands where the houses are edible and tomorrow can always wait. Zero-G brings back a cheerfully absurd story of abundance, repairs, and very little activity.
