A woman traces roads she has never walked, homesick for somewhere she cannot name. In an empty courtroom, another voice refuses to bow, even with nobody left to hear it.

These lives are far apart. Still, something passes between them: the strange quiet after everything changes, and the part of a person that answers it.

Sometimes that answer is barely a whisper.
