City of Endless Rain

City of Endless Rain

The rain has lasted long enough to become part of every conversation, then long enough that people stop mentioning it.

The city continues. Lights come on. Trains run. People know what to do next, even when they no longer remember what they were looking forward to.

Lymora notices what falls outside that routine: an empty place that still feels occupied, a familiar sound with nobody left to recognize it, a moment of beauty that seems to have arrived too late.

She pauses where others keep walking.

Around her, memory takes unfamiliar forms. Something enormous seems to be sleeping inside the structures people have abandoned. Somewhere beyond the rain, another sky suggests the impossible feeling of home.

She cannot tell you what every image means. Some frighten her. Others are beautiful enough to make her stay.

The world has taught people to function through almost anything. Lymora is still learning how to bear what she feels.

The Age of the Great Migration

First across a dying Earth, then into orbit, then toward distant stars—humanity keeps moving, searching for somewhere it will not have to leave.

About this song

Sleeping Titan blends mysterious piano, frozen ambience, cinematic sci-fi textures and Lymora’s ethereal voice into a journey of discovery, wonder and growing unease.

The deeper they go, the question changes.

They are no longer asking what they found.

They are beginning to wonder whether it found them.

“Were we the ones who found you…

Or did you call to me?”

An epic, mysterious sci-fi cinematic soundtrack — spacious reverb toward a monumental, ancient-machine sense of fragile awe.

Lore

A thousand meters beneath the ice, an exploration team finds something that should not be there.

Buried beneath rock and frozen chambers lies a machine of impossible scale — its body large enough to contain corridors, mechanisms, and what seems almost like a city within its chest.

The ice is cold.

The metal is warm.

Then the ancient lights begin to wake.

Lyrics

[Intro]
(Under the ice...)
(Something is breathing...)

[Verse 1]
We found a shadow under white
Too straight to be a mountain side
A thousand meters down below
Where nothing living ought to grow

I brushed the frost away by hand
And touched a line I couldn't understand
The ice was cold
The metal warm

And somewhere deep...
I heard a storm

[Pre-Chorus]
No name
No sign
No warning left behind

Only circles in the steel
Turning slowly out of time

[Chorus]
Sleeping Titan
What were you before?
Who built your hands
Beneath this frozen world?

Sleeping Titan
How long have you dreamed?
Were we the ones who found you...
Or did you call to me?

(To me...)

[Verse 2]
We followed chambers through the blue
Past doors no human ever knew
A city folded in your chest
Machines asleep inside their nests

Then one by one beneath my feet
The ancient lights began to breathe
Not bright enough to show the way
Just bright enough to make me stay

[Pre-Chorus]
One light
Then two
Then something moving far below

I should have turned around
But I needed to know

[Chorus]
Sleeping Titan
What were you before?
Did you watch the stars
Before our world was born?

Sleeping Titan
Why are you still here?
And why does something in your heart
Sound like something I can hear?

[Bridge]
I placed my hand against the wall

And the whole world answered

One...
Slow...
Pulse...

Then another

(Was that you?)
(Was that me?)

[Final Chorus]
Sleeping Titan
Open your ancient eyes
Show me what was here
Before we named the sky

Sleeping Titan
I don't know what you mean

But something underneath the ice...

Just remembered me

[Outro]
(One pulse...)
(Two pulses...)

Don't wake up...

(Or do.)
