✨ Rare 🧠 Personal Memory

With broken toys and questions nobody wants to answer, a child builds a kinder world. Growing up makes the task harder, but never quite ends the dream.

The Child Who Remembered the Stars

The Child Who Remembered the Stars

A child gathers small, broken things. Where someone else sees rubbish, there are parts of a world waiting to be assembled.

At night, the stars make that world larger. During the day, other questions arrive. Why is someone hungry? Why is something unfair allowed to stay that way? The answers often sound like instructions to stop asking.

Years pass. Some questions become harder to say aloud. There are wounds to protect and reasons to be careful.

But now and then, an ordinary object catches the light, and the old instinct returns: perhaps something could be made from this.

The child still has a question.

Inner Sky

Some feelings need more room than a life allows. Inner Sky gives them wings, currents, and skies you thought you had forgotten.

Lore

Child of the Broken World is a deeply personal song about a child who looked at a world that seemed fundamentally unfair — and, instead of accepting it, began imagining another one.

With little more than broken toys, wood, dust, and imagination, he built worlds where things could work differently. Questions about hunger, inequality, greed, and justice slowly became part of those childhood worlds, even when the adults around him treated them as little more than games.

Growing older brings the realization that the world is far harder to rebuild than a childhood kingdom. Yet the dream survives. What began as play becomes an inner refusal to accept that suffering, indifference, and injustice are simply “how it’s made.”

Child of the Broken World is part of Strong Heart’s album The Child Who Remembered the Stars — a journey through childhood wonder, wounds, resilience, and the ideas we carry with us long after childhood ends.

About this song

Mitey Veyra sings a childhood memory in which making things and questioning injustice grow together. Broken toys and scraps become the materials for an imagined world with room for kindness, while the adult world answers hunger and inequality with resignation.

The recurring promise to keep building gives the song its emotional motion. Within The Child Who Remembered the Stars, wonder becomes an early form of responsibility: the child cannot repair everything, but he can refuse to stop imagining that things might be different.

An emotional trance / cinematic electronic track — dreamy trance with cold reverb layers and a steady ethereal rhythm, carried by soft yet piercing female vocals over pad textures like soft wind and deep sea, and a pulse like distant drums underwater. Melancholic, visionary, determined — innocent yet wise.

Lyrics

[Intro]
Wood and dust beneath my hands,
castles made of broken brands.
Dreams from sticks and fallen toys,
I built empires from the noise.

[Verse A]
The others played with shiny kings,
I shaped my world with smaller things.
They laughed, but I could see the plan —
how the earth could feed each man.

I asked, “Why do the hungry fade?”
The world replied, “It’s how it’s made.”
So I drew a map no one had seen,
a floating realm, pure and clean.

[Bridge]
If no one builds it, I will.
If no one dreams it, I still will.
One child against the gravity —
of greed, of loss, of apathy.

[Chorus]
I’m the child of the broken world,
holding hope in shattered pearls.
From the dust, I raise a dawn,
for all the dreams the night has torn.

I’m the child who would not yield,
planting stars in barren fields.
Even if no one believes —
the world I build still breathes.

[Verse B]
They said, “Grow up, it’s just a game,”
but kingdoms fall for lesser aims.
I saw a planet lost in gold,
while hearts grew tired, hard, and cold.

So I whispered to the empty air,
“There must be justice somewhere there.”
But silence only turned its face,
and left me dreaming into space.

[Bridge]
You’re not from elsewhere…
You came to remind them what “home” means.

[Final Chorus]
I’m the child of the broken world,
lighting fires where flags unfurled.
I may be small, but truth is wide —
a universe inside.

I’m the child who still believes,
in kindness over kings and thieves.
And even if the stars all die,
my dream will stay alive.

[Outro]
one child… one light… one world reborn tonight…
