Heaven I: The Heaven We Built

Heaven I: The Heaven We Built

It began with a discovery that changed the future forever.

A neuroscientist found that the human brain does not simply accept experiences generated behind the senses as real—it can experience them with a richness that surpasses physical reality itself. Freed from the limits of the eyes, ears, and body, the mind could construct worlds of impossible beauty, overwhelming emotion, and perfect presence.

For the first time in history, paradise became an engineering problem.

Entire industries were born around the idea. Investors poured unimaginable fortunes into building the first artificial heavens: vast shared dream worlds where landscapes could be shaped by thought, seasons could change with a gesture, and every desire could become a lived experience without physical, economic, or even moral constraints.

To enter, a person simply stepped into a life-support capsule. While the body rested safely inside its silent shell, the mind awakened somewhere else.

A place where oceans were always warm.

Where the sky never forgot your favorite colors.

Where love, adventure, beauty, peace, and every impossible dream could finally become home.

Millions sold everything they owned for a place inside this new paradise. Retirement was no longer measured in years, but in the life one wished to live forever.

Meanwhile, the world outside changed in ways few had expected.

As more people abandoned physical life, industries slowed, factories closed, and entire economies lost their purpose. Wealth itself became meaningless in a world where those who possessed it no longer needed anything from reality.

Beyond the walls of paradise, billions remained behind, struggling to survive among collapsing cities and improvised communities where the old economic system had quietly faded away.

Yet inside the dream...

None of that seemed to matter.

Welcome to Heaven I: The Heaven We Built.

The Dreamer's Testimony

Before I knew what Heaven was...

I dreamed about it.

As a child, I imagined endless palaces, mountains of gold, and worlds where every wish could come true. I believed happiness was simply waiting behind one more door, one more treasure, one more impossible dream.

Years later, I found myself standing inside that dream.

Everything was exactly as I had imagined.

And yet...

Somehow, the halls felt colder than they did in my childhood.

That question never left me.

If every dream can come true...

Why do some dreams lose their warmth the moment they become real?

I have spent my life searching for that answer.

Perhaps this is where the journey truly begins.

About this song

Palace of Ghosts is the closing chapter of Heaven I: The Heaven We Built and the bridge into Heaven II: Beyond Heaven.

More than the story of a paradise, it is the story of a question born in childhood—a question that continues long after every dream has been fulfilled. As the imagined palace finally becomes reality, the song quietly asks why wonder can fade, why desire changes after fulfillment, and why the heart keeps searching even when nothing is missing.

With intimate piano, atmospheric electronics, and reflective vocals, Palace of Ghosts closes the first chapter not with an ending, but with the first step toward a deeper search: not for a better paradise, but for a better understanding of happiness, purpose, and the human soul.

A dreamy trance / cinematic philosophical pop track with cold reverb layers and a steady ethereal rhythm, carried by soft yet piercing female vocals over pad textures like soft wind and deep sea, and a pulse like distant drums underwater. Introspective, mystical, bittersweet.
