Real Enough

💎 Legendary 🌙 Personal Dreams

Warm water, a hand to hold, a life shaped by thought. Moraen asks why love and memory should count for less because the world that holds them is a dream.

Heaven I: The Heaven We Built

Heaven I: The Heaven We Built

It began with a discovery that changed the future forever.

A neuroscientist found that the human brain does not simply accept experiences generated behind the senses as real—it can experience them with a richness that surpasses physical reality itself. Freed from the limits of the eyes, ears, and body, the mind could construct worlds of impossible beauty, overwhelming emotion, and perfect presence.

For the first time in history, paradise became an engineering problem.

Entire industries were born around the idea. Investors poured unimaginable fortunes into building the first artificial heavens: vast shared dream worlds where landscapes could be shaped by thought, seasons could change with a gesture, and every desire could become a lived experience without physical, economic, or even moral constraints.

To enter, a person simply stepped into a life-support capsule. While the body rested safely inside its silent shell, the mind awakened somewhere else.

A place where oceans were always warm.

Where the sky never forgot your favorite colors.

Where love, adventure, beauty, peace, and every impossible dream could finally become home.

Millions sold everything they owned for a place inside this new paradise. Retirement was no longer measured in years, but in the life one wished to live forever.

Meanwhile, the world outside changed in ways few had expected.

As more people abandoned physical life, industries slowed, factories closed, and entire economies lost their purpose. Wealth itself became meaningless in a world where those who possessed it no longer needed anything from reality.

Beyond the walls of paradise, billions remained behind, struggling to survive among collapsing cities and improvised communities where the old economic system had quietly faded away.

Yet inside the dream...

None of that seemed to matter.

Welcome to Heaven I: The Heaven We Built.

About this song

Real Enough is the philosophical heart of Heaven I: The Heaven We Built.

Unlike the other witnesses who simply embrace paradise, this song asks the first great question of the series.

If consciousness experiences love, joy, beauty, fear, loss, warmth, and wonder exactly as it would in physical reality—or perhaps even more intensely—what makes one world more "real" than another?

Real Enough explores the value of experience itself. It invites the listener to question whether reality is defined by the material world, or by the emotions and memories that shape a human life.

Musically, the song combines warm cinematic pop with ambient textures, gentle electronic elements, intimate male vocals, and a soaring emotional chorus built around its central refrain:

"If it feels real enough... why should I wake?"

It is not a declaration.

It is an invitation to reconsider what the word real has always meant.

A cinematic pop, ambient-chill piece with an inspirational electronic pulse — a warm, emotional male vocal moves from intimate verses into a wide, uplifting chorus over soft piano pulses, deep ambient pads, and a gentle heartbeat rhythm, building slowly toward a bittersweet, hopeful atmosphere with no heavy drop.

Moraen's Testimony

People keep asking me the same question.

"But isn't it just a simulation?"

I don't know.

The water is warm.

The wind carries the scent of the sea.

When someone holds my hand, my heart still races.

When I laugh, I don't hear an imitation of laughter—I laugh.

Every memory I make here belongs to me.

Every sunrise changes me.

If my tears are real...

If my love is real...

If my fears and hopes leave marks on my soul...

Then tell me...

Which part of this life is supposed to be fake?

Lyrics

[Intro]
If it feels real enough...
Why should I wake?
[whisper]
real enough...

[Verse 1]
Numbers flew across the screen
I lost the boat I tried to dream
Then the world opened its hands
And built an ocean just for me
One word became a golden deck
One breath became a summer shore
I touched the water with my feet
And wanted nothing more

[Pre-Chorus]
Same water
Same warmth
Same light upon my face
Same silence
Same sky
Same disappearing place
So tell me why
Tell me why
Should I run?

[Chorus]
If it feels real enough
Real enough to hold
If the air still fills my lungs
And the rain still turns me cold
If the dream can love me back
If the night can light the stars
Why should I break paradise
To find out where we are?

[Post-Chorus]
Real enough
Real enough
Is it real enough?
Real enough
Real enough
For us

[Verse 2]
I spent my years learning names
For doors I never had to use
Now I paint my life with open hands
With only voice and touch to choose
I lived inside a battlefield
And tuned the pain until it sang
Not too cruel to make me fall
Just enough to feel the flame

[Pre-Chorus 2]
Same danger
Same fear
Same victory in my chest
Same hunger
Same fire
Same trembling after rest
So tell me why
Tell me why
Should I leave?

[Chorus]
If it feels real enough
Real enough to hold
If the air still fills my lungs
And the rain still turns me cold
If the dream can love me back
If the night can light the stars
Why should I break paradise
To find out where we are?

[Bridge]
If gold fell from the heavens
And covered every street
Would anyone still chase it
Would anyone still bleed?
If every wish is waiting
If every door is near
What happens to the wanting
When wanting disappears?

[Build]
Maybe truth is not the water
Maybe truth is not the sky
Maybe truth is what keeps asking
When every answer says lie down
Maybe I am not escaping
Maybe I am being shown
How the dream becomes a mirror
When the soul is left alone

[Final Chorus]
If it feels real enough
Real enough to hold
If the air still fills my lungs
And the rain still turns me cold
If the dream can love me back
If the night can light the stars
Why should I break paradise
To find out where we are?

[Final Post-Chorus]
Real enough
Real enough
Is it real enough?
Real enough
Real enough
For us

[Outro]
If it feels real enough...
Why do I still ask?
[whisper]
why do I still ask?
