A world entered through the mind

A breakthrough in neuroscience made it possible to experience constructed worlds with a richness beyond ordinary sensation. An ocean could feel warmer, a sky more vivid, an embrace as immediate as anything remembered from waking life. Around that discovery grew an industry offering a new place to live: Digital Heaven.

The body remains in a life-support capsule while the mind inhabits a shared dream world. The promise is a life of extraordinary comfort and possibility. Inside, a palace needs no land, quarried stone, or fortune. A thought can open its doors onto a different sea.

Lives beyond the permitted

There is no requirement to remain the person you were outside. You can reign over a kingdom, sail into a storm, become a scholar, or run through a neon city as a thief. You can enter a thousand love stories and discover how differently each one feels from within. Desires and roles forbidden in ordinary life can become experiences inside a dream.

Danger belongs to the story you enter. Pain can be chosen and adjusted; someone seeking peace may refuse it, while another turns it up to feel the heat of a battle. Death within a dream ends a role in that story, not the life of the person resting in the capsule. Yet the memories, attachments, and questions carried away from these experiences can remain deeply personal.

The world beyond the capsules

As people exchange their possessions for entry, the economy outside begins to lose the desires that sustained it. Why spend a lifetime paying for a mansion when its dream equivalent is already yours? Why pursue another fortune when there is nothing left you need to buy?

Businesses lose customers, industries contract, and cities fade as those with the means to enter turn their attention elsewhere. People left outside must continue living among the consequences. The physical world still supports the sleeping bodies, even as its importance recedes from the minds within them.

The divide reaches into familiar ambitions: the house, the car, the wealth, the life postponed until all three arrive. Heaven makes those rewards available, then leaves room to discover what they meant to us.

Arrivals from another century

Some people reached this era by sleeping through the years before it. Long before Digital Heaven, a clandestine cryopreservation service offered selected clients a one-way passage into the future. For some, savings invested during their absence promised a new beginning. For others, preservation was a last hope for treatment that their own time could not provide. The same technology could also be used to take a person's future away.

Moraen, Benny Everon, Kairo Vane, Lyliana Whisper, and Mitey Veyra arrive carrying very different histories. A lost fortune, an interrupted childhood, a longing for quiet, an old humiliation, or an unjust sentence does not disappear simply because a century has passed. Before the dream capsules, the Reception Hall brings these lives together at the threshold of another beginning.

Stories on the screens

Heaven's era also has its own television dramas. The Great Migration brings the rain-soaked world of City of Endless Rain to the screen, with Lymora in the lead. Krakon Civilization Traders opens another window, with Mira Velle and performances by Moraen and Mitey Veyra. Acting connects these stories and faces to Heaven without making every performer a migrant from another world.

Two albums, two stages of the journey

Heaven I: The Heaven We Built enters the dream through the people discovering its possibilities. Heaven II: Beyond Heaven follows the questions that become audible when the excitement of having everything begins to quiet. Together, they invite you to experience the attraction of paradise and explore what a person might still seek within it, or beyond it.
