Tales from Krakon

Story

A captain takes a contract, and a small ship leaves everything familiar behind. Somewhere along its route, a settlement is living by rules the crew has never encountered. Another vessel lies silent with something still running inside. At the next port, a stranger may be looking for passage—or offering a reason to change direction entirely.

Sometimes you take a job because it is the only one available. You may never learn to love it, but leaving is something you cannot afford. Across Krakon, some people take the opportunity within reach. Others have no say in where they find themselves.

Above an unfamiliar planet, the crew waits for the captain to finish the calculations. Will there be a landing? Who will go?

Some hope never to hear their names. Others have spent so long inside the ship that almost any patch of solid ground would feel like a gift, provided the reports look safe enough. A few are eager even when they do not. There are crew members kept in storage specifically for dangerous assignments, ready to be awakened when those moments come.

But sometimes the captain's calculations favor someone else.

The descent may begin inside a cramped capsule, with barely enough room to bend your knees. Returning will require another decision, another expense, and someone above who still considers the journey worthwhile. Surviving the landing does not guarantee a place on the ship again.

You might even be left free—on a world where nobody would choose to spend that freedom.

Elsewhere, someone has a comfortable life aboard a station: a small business, familiar neighbors, and a lover with whom life fits together like the two halves of a seed. There are obligations, but also pleasures, plans, and reasons to be content.

Still, a rumor about somewhere far away refuses to leave them alone. They call it an opportunity to make their fortune. Perhaps that is part of the truth.

One half of the seed leaves for the unknown. The other waits, like a flower losing its petals.

On another world, a hero gives his life to protect his people—and discovers that he has done so before. A poem written for his beloved in his first life survives to reveal what he cannot remember.

Who stole my eternity

to give me another life to bleed through?

How many stars have they bought

with the stories of my sacrifice?

He believed the monsters were invading his home. Now he has reason to believe that neither he nor the monsters belonged there.

When he resists, the people he once defended are sent to destroy him.

Every song begins with a story.

Krakon Planet

Near a black hole, fortunes grow. Across Krakon space, trillions build comfortable lives while millions chase treasure, distant worlds, and a story worth leaving behind.

Lore

A song about a man who already finished his story.

After dying in his original world, he was awakened again and again across distant ages — given new wars, new identities, and artificial memories to turn him into an eternal hero for other people's stories.

But something survived.

A poem.

A few lines he once wrote for the woman he truly loved before his death.

The poem crossed centuries untouched, and when he heard it again, he realized something terrifying:

His soul remembered the truth before his mind did.

The Poem That Remembered Me is the moment an immortalized hero understands that he was never resurrected to live again…

only to be reused.

About this song

Mitey Veyra performs a role from "Krakon Civilization Traders": a man repeatedly returned to life, supplied with new identities and memories for other people's purposes. A poem he once wrote becomes the intimate evidence that those imposed histories cannot contain him.

The recurring phrases make remembering feel physical, arriving through recognition before explanation. Love is also a claim to an ending that should have been his to keep. The performance draws on memory and stolen time while remaining the story of the character she plays.

A dreamy trance track with cold reverb layers and a steady ethereal rhythm, carried by soft yet piercing female vocals over pad textures like soft wind and deep sea, held together by a consistent pulse like distant drums underwater.

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I found your name inside a line
Written by hands I don't recall
A poem older than my skin
Calling me from behind the wall
I read the words like they were mine
Like breath remembers how to breathe
Every sentence cuts so close
It feels like truth remembering me
(remember me… remember me…)

[Pre-Chorus]
They said my past was ash and dust
A story closed, a life resigned
But every word I speak aloud
Feels like it already lived inside
(already lived inside…)

[Chorus]
If I wrote you once in another life
Then you are not a dream, you're a scar
Every line knows the shape of you
Every wound knows where you are
I don't know my name across the years
But my heart knows who you must be
If these words are breaking me open
Then they could only come from me
(from me… from me…)

[Verse 2]
Your eyes are mirrors I have feared
Soft as truth, sharp as blame
They erased the years between us
But desire never learned their game
You are patience shaped as fire
You are mercy dressed in pain
Every version of my future
Leads me back to you again
(back to you again…)

[Pre-Chorus 2]
I loved you before I had a face
Before the war, before the fall
If time is lying to my bones
Then love is older than it all
(older than it all…)

[Chorus]
If I wrote you once in another life
Then you are not a dream, you're real
Every verse is a memory
I was never meant to steal
They buried me in other skies
They gave me peace, they gave me years
But they stole my ending from me
And called the silence mercy's name
(mercy's name…)

[Bridge]
I see it now, the hidden crime
They didn't kill me, they rewound
They pulled me out of my eternity
And dressed the theft as sacred ground
You were my end, my final truth
The place where stories learn to sleep
They turned my forever into "once"
And called that kindness, called that peace
(called that peace…)
(called that peace…)

[Break]
If love survived the erasure…
Then love is stronger than time.
(stronger than time…)

[Final Chorus]
I don't need proof, I don't need files
I don't need the years they broke
This poem is my fingerprint
This ache is how I know
If you are standing in my path
Like fate pretending to be chance
Then I was never meant to lose you
I was meant to remember who I am
(who I am… who I am…)

[Outro]
Let them keep the worlds they made
Let them sell my stolen days
I choose the truth that hurts the most
I choose the love they couldn't erase
…
Then love is stronger than time.
